I began my fitness journey at the age of 28, when i was at the lowest point of my life. I was depressed, riddled with anxiety, and i was gaining more weight than i ever had before. My self esteem and self worth were non exsistant, i hated my body, and my confidence was in shambles.

One day, my mom invited me to go with her to a training session with her personal trainer, and i am so grateful. I never saw myself as a "gym person," mostly because i was intimidated and had no idea what I was doing or where to even start. After staying consistant and pushing myself, within a few months, the weight started coming off! I learned how to push my body past the limits my mind was setting, and accomplished more than i ever thought i could. The positive changes to my mental health began immediately! I was happier, I gained self-esteem, and my confidence continued to grow. After a few years of doing my workouts on my own, it felt like I hit a plateau and I was just going through the motions. So after a year of going back and forth with the idea of competing in bodybuilding competitions, I decided to take the plunge head first. Even though I had no idea where to start, I did know I wanted to stay natural and didn’t want a trainer that would push the issue. After talking with a few people, Gymbo was recommended to me. I didn’t realize that not only did I gain a very knowledgeable trainer, I also became a part of a gym community unlike any other that is so supportive and welcoming.

Since I began training with Gymbo, he has helped me hone in on my nutrition, I have seen a huge change my body, tons of muscle growth, and lots and lots of progress in more ways than one. I started training in march, and by September I was on stage. I competed in 3 shows my first season, and placed 2nd in each of them. All thanks to Gymbo’s knowledge and guidance, hard work, and a really rare and wonderful gym community that has been a huge support system to me.
