I looked forward to my training sessions, knowing with each session I would be one step closer!
I started training with Jim in the beginning of 2013. I was a bikini competitor and wasn’t really seeing the results with my legs that I needed to be competitive for my upcoming competitions. So after training with Jim the first time I knew that I wanted to train with him. I felt like that was the first time I had really been challenged with my workouts. Every minute of it was torturous, but for the first time I started to see results! I looked forward to my training sessions, knowing with each session I would be one step closer! My first show was coming up and I was not yet having Jim do my diet. I had been training with another trainer at the time that was doing my diets. This trainer was very well known and had been a highly sought after. As the competition came closer Jim was giving me diet tips and actually set up a diet for me follow leading up to my show. And to be honest I was a little hesitant to follow it. As I said I was doing my diets with a big name trainer and thought Jim surely could not know more than him in regards to dieting! So after seeing the photos from that show I was so disappointed! My legs looked phenomenal! But the rest of my body that I trusted the big name trainer with had been stripped of muscle and definition due to diet and intense cardio! I decided at that point I would trust Jim with the diet for my next couple shows. And the only thing I regret is not trusting him sooner! The next show I stepped on stage and looked the best I had ever looked! I was beyond thrilled! I ended up taking 2nd in Bikini Tall Class and 3rd in Masters Bikini!
As a trainer, Jim went above and beyond what I expected out of a trainer. He attended every one of my shows even if it was out of town and even if I was the only of his clients competing. I learned a whole new way of training that was hard and challenging, and is now a part of every one of my workouts! I can’t thank him enough for everything he has done!
