I was able to lose 14 lbs ... through hard work and learning to turn the words “I Can’t” into “I Can” in the gym while working out.
In 2009, I was 50 years old in need of someone to help me take the weight off through Nutrition and Cardio. I was able to lose 14 lbs on Jimbo’s plan in one month through hard work and learning to turn the words “I Can’t” into “I Can” in the gym while working out. By doing so, I gradually lost another 19 more pounds which helped take a lot of pressure off of my knees and hips.
Overtime, Jimbo, was able to decrease my fat, build muscle, help me get past my fears of exercising and helped me build confidence in myself to work out in the gym.
In 2011, I developed a shoulder injury while working out on my own. I went to the doctor because my arm was locked up against my right side due to pain when I lifted it. I had a spur on my rotator cuff. The doctor told me, “ 90% of my patients who do physical therapy usually will not need surgery.” So, for 2 years I went back and forth to a therapist and he was able to get me to reach up halfway with my arm at this point. I still felt I had a way to go, so, that is when I decided to call Jimbo in 2013 and asked him if he could help me through my shoulder injury and he was more then happy to get me back into the gym and get me back to where I needed to be. We worked with stretch bands and a lot of back exercises to get the spur off of my rotator cuff. We did this twice a week for 6 months and I am so glad to report that I am able to move my right arm all the way above my head, behind my back, pain free and with NO SURGERY!
I am back into working out again using dumbbells, machines, barbells and whatever else I want to do, thanks to Jimbo.
Jimbo, is a very positive and discipline person which I hope one day will rub off on me.
